Three people were killed and 56 injured in shootings in Chicago over the weekend.
The numbers are the lowest the city has seen in more than a month. Last weekend, gun violence in the city killed 10 people and wounded 60 others.
The shootings wounded three teenagers, including a 13-year-old girl, on Saturday.
The 13-year-old was shot in an alley around 2 p.m., according to Chicago police. She was shot in the right leg and taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in good condition.
A 17-year-old boy was grazed by a bullet from a drive-by shooting on the Far South Side around 9 p.m. on Saturday. He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition.
Another 17-year-old boy, along with a 37-year-old man, were shot around 1 p.m on the Southwest Side. The teen was stabilized at Mt. Sinai Hospital, police said. The man took himself to St. Anthony Hospital with a gunshot wound in his foot and was in good condition.
