Biden, 77, becomes youngest male candidate in Democratic primary

With Pete Buttigieg's announcement Sunday that he is dropping out of the presidential race, Joe Biden, 77, is now the youngest male candidate in the Democrats' 2020 presidential primary.

Before Buttigieg dropped out, he was the youngest candidate running for president at 38 years old. Bernie Sanders is the oldest candidate at 78 years old, while Mike Bloomberg is only eight months younger than Sanders.

? President Trump, 73, became the oldest president to assume the office at 70 years and 220 days. President John F. Kennedy is the youngest elected president at 43 years and 236 days.
