Rap artist Kanye West tweeted another statement on how abortion affects the black community on Monday, decrying the number of black children aborted daily.

The star has repeatedly made similar statements in recent months through additional tweets, comments at his event announcing his presidential bid, and speaking on Nick Cannon's podcast.

"There's some harsh facts that deal with the black genocide that is abortion, and it's happening every day," West said on Cannon's podcast in September. "Planned Parenthood was set up and placed in minority communities to kill black people."

West also told Forbes in July that he believed abortion clinics such as Planned Parenthood were placed in largely urban settings as the work of "white supremacists," referring to Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger's racist and eugenic beliefs.

"I am pro-life because I'm following the word of the Bible," West said in July. "Planned Parenthoods have been placed inside cities by white supremacists to do the Devil's work."

🔦 The CDC reported that 38% of all pregnancies in the black community ended in abortion in 2016. This number has increased slightly over the past decade. Groups like Right to Life estimate that this number, when compared to the number of total pregnancies in the black community, result in the death of at least 900 black children by abortion every day.
