North Korea launched two projectiles off its east coast on Thursday, according to South Korea's military. The launch comes nearly a month after the rogue nation's last launch, and one month prior to the deadline set for North Korea-United States negotiations on nuclear policy.

South Korea's Joint Chiefs told Yonhap New Agency that "South Korean and U.S. intelligence authorities are analyzing additional features...Our military is monitoring the situation in case of additional launches and maintaining a readiness posture."

The missiles were fired within 30 second intervals and both flew approximately 236 mile before landing in the Sea of Japan.
