After both CNN and The Washington Post settled the multimillion-dollar defamation lawsuits he brought against them, former Covington Catholic high school student Nick Sandmann won another victory Thursday.

Four additional news corporations — ABC News, CBS News, The New York Times, and Rolling Stone — facing similar defamation suits from Sandmann all filed motions to dismiss the cases being brought against them. Each motion was denied by the court.

"Today marks another important step towards achieving justice against a media that thinks it has a license to smear," Sandmann said.

🔦 Sandmann had brought defamation suits against the outlets for their coverage of him and his classmates as racist and aggressive during a confrontation between them and a Native American man at the 2019 March for Life.
