The Escambia County Sheriff's Office confirmed that eleven people were shot at the Naval Air Station Pensacola in Escambia County, Florida Friday morning and that four people, including the shooter, are deceased.
Two deputies engaged and killed the shooter, both of them sustaining gunshot wounds during the shootout, according to David Morgan, Escambia County Sheriff. One was shot in the knee and the other in the shoulder; both are expected to make a full recovery.

A spokesman for NAS Pensacola confirmed to the Pensacola News Journal that an active shooter was first reported around 7:00 a.m.
