Florida prosecutors have dropped a charge of solicitation of sex lodged against NFL Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

The decision comes after an August ruling by the Florida 4th District Court of Appeal that the video evidence showing Kraft and other men engaging in sexual acts with women at a massage parlor, then paying the women, was obtained in violation of the men's rights.

The videos were made in early 2019. Kraft pleaded not guilty to the charge, but did issue a public apology. On Monday, his attorneys filed a request to have the footage destroyed.
