Amazon announced on Monday that it is giving away more than $500 million in "thank you" bonuses for front-line employees who worked the month of June.

Full-time Amazon and Whole Foods employees will receive a $500 bonus while part-time workers will receive a $250 bonus. Delivery Service Partner drivers are eligible for the same bonuses.

"Our front-line operations teams have been on an incredible journey over the last few months, and we want to show our appreciation with a special one-time Thank You bonus totaling over $500 million," said Dave Clark, Amazon's senior vice president of worldwide operations.

Amazon is also giving all Amazon and Whole Foods leaders $1,000 bonuses. Delivery Service Partner owners will collect bonuses worth $3,000 and Amazon Flex drivers who worked at least 10 hours per week will receive $150.
