Amazon has been granted access to significant amounts of government-collected healthcare data in England to create new products and services. The company will not be able to review or utilize individual patient data.

The corporation partnered with England's National Health Service to gain access to information on medical conditions, symptoms of those conditions, and their causes. The tech company plans to create new products and services using that data

Amazon will be able to utilize this information in a commercial context around the world. Normally, anyone accessing NHS data must limit its usage strictly to the United Kingdom.
