Amazon's Prime Day — originally postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic — is now slated to kick off on October 13, according to people familiar with Amazon's plans.
The online retailer has reportedly blacked out vacation for its full-time warehouse workers from October 13-20, although an Amazon spokesperson declined to verify the date.
"Stay tuned for more details on Prime Day," the spokesperson said. "Customers can also say, 'Alexa, keep me posted on Prime Day.'"
It is also unclear how long the sale will last.
? Amazon Prime Day, which typically takes place in July, was originally delayed because the retailer was struggling to mesh its operations with coronavirus regulations during a surge of online orders.
