Amy Klobuchar has dropped out of the Democratic presidential primary race and plans to endorse candidate Joe Biden, just hours before Super Tuesday commences.

The senator from Minnesota entered the race with an appeal to moderate voters. Despite finishing third place in the New Hampshire primary, Klobuchar fell behind other candidates in Iowa, Nevada, and South Carolina.

Klobuchar's decision comes just a day after former candidate Pete Buttigieg dropped from the race and follows a campaign event on Sunday that was canceled due to protesters.

? The decisions by Klobuchar and Buttigieg to exit the race before Super Tuesday are almost certain to be a boon to Joe Biden's campaign, as he is expected to pick up many of their voters.
