Antifa members attending a Black Lives Matter rally in Washington, D.C., threatened to burn down the city on Saturday.
A "DC Queer and Trans Black History Month March and Rally" organized by the Total Liberation Collective and the Palm collective met at 2 p.m. and was later followed by Black Lives Matter protesters that evening. The protesters included Antifa members marching under an "Antifacist Action" flag.
The group scuffled with city police officers, as as well as chanted "Black lives, they matter here" and "If we don't get it, burn it down."
"We are here tonight because black lives matter," the group recited at the end of the protest. "Despite black lives mattering, black people are still dying at the hands of the police paid for by our tax dollars."
