LifeWay Christian Resources, the publishing wing of the Southern Baptist Convention, will offer virtual Sunday school programs for children in an effort to make up for the nationwide church closures that have come in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

The free resource, called "LifeWay Kids at Home," is drawn from the organization's existing Sunday school literature. New content will be added to the program weekly and resources will include conversation guides and videos.

Chuck Peters, the director of operations for LifeWay Kids, called the new tool a "no cost, no-obligation" way to serve the church, telling media: "It's why we're here: We're a ministry first."
