Senator Elizabeth Warren and former vice president Joe Biden are locked in a dead heat for the Democratic presidential primary, with Warren surging ahead to tie the former vice president.

Both candidates are polling at 26 percent, a new Economist/YouGov poll shows. The showing “marks one of the few polls where Biden is within danger of losing his frontrunner status.”

The next closest candidate is Bernie Sanders, who is currently polling at 16 percent.
