Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden on Wednesday suggested ending the primary debate schedule early, indicating he was "done with" debating his opponent Bernie Sanders and that his focus was more on the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
In an interview on ABC News, Biden remarked that he "hadn't thought about any more debates" with Sanders, adding: "I think we've had enough debates. I think we should get on with this."
Sanders has already confirmed his willingness to appear in a final debate. Last week, the socialist candidate pulled all his campaign's Facebook ads, a strong indication that he is considering dropping out of the 2020 primary and ceding the contest to Biden.
