Former Vice President Joe Biden has made another set of confusing remarks in a campaign speech, this time at a dinner held in South Carolina ahead of the state's primary contest on Saturday.

A viral video from the Monday event shows Biden telling the crowd: "My name is Joe Biden. I'm a Democratic candidate for the United States Senate. Look me over, if you like what you see, help out. If not, vote for the other Biden."

Other perplexing comments Biden has made include multiple instances of naming the wrong city or state he is in for an event, calling a woman a "lying, dog-faced pony soldier" and stating that his vice president would have to be someone who could serve as president "because I'm an old guy."

Biden is set to debate the other Democratic candidates for the party's nomination Tuesday evening in South Carolina.
