Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden on Tuesday outlined his proposal to combat climate change and stimulate economic growth, saying during his 20-minute speech that the U.S. has just nine years to save Earth from climate change.
"Science requires a timetable for measuring progress on climate that isn't three decades or even two," Biden said. "Science tells us we have nine years before the damage is irreversible."
He also promised to deliver "net zero emissions no later than 2050."
