Former vice president and current Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden told reporters in Iowa that people are wrong for saying that the Democratic Party has swung far to the left and that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) represents the "new party."
"You all thought that what happened was the party moved extremely to the left after Hillary — AOC was the new party," Biden said. "She's a bright, wonderful person, but where's the party? Come on, man."
Biden also said he disagreed strongly with other candidates who think Medicare for All is the top priority, such as Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
