Biden: Trump "deathly afraid to face me"

During a Monday appearance on CNN, Joe Biden claimed that President Trump is "deathly afraid" to face him in the 2020 election, vowing of the Republican incumbent: "I will beat him."

As evidence of Trump's reputed fear of the former vice president, Biden cited Trump's alleged attempts to have the Ukrainian president investigate the Biden family as a way to give Trump leverage in the 2020 elections. "This guy is obsessed with me," Biden told host Don Lemon.

? The Democratic candidate and onetime-presumptive nominee has tumbled in recent polls, losing first place to socialist Bernie Sanders in a recent Quinnipiac poll and placing fourth in the coveted Iowa caucuses.
