Dozens of Black Lives Matter activists were filmed by a local Minneapolis news crew kneeling for a moment of silence outside Gov. Tim Walz's mansion as rumors circulated about a fatal police shooting.
It was revealed that the man who was killed by police was an armed white man who had carjacked a woman at gunpoint and proceeded to shoot at cops as they pursued him.
Upon learning that the victim was a white male, the BLM activists ended their silent kneel and turned back towards Brooklyn Center, the site where Daunte Wright was shot by police.
In the moments after the kneeling began, several on social media blasted the activists for staging a demonstration before all the facts were known.
