Former Trump National Security Adviser John Bolton denied on Monday claims that he had leaked his manuscript to media on the same day that it became available for preorder.
The New York Times reported on Sunday that Bolton's book reveals that Trump "tied Ukraine aids to inquiries he sought," a key claim of Democrats looking to remove the president from office. The book opened for preorders shortly after the news dropped.
The former adviser said on Monday that there was "absolutely no coordination" with media regarding the book's leak. One of Bolton's assistants said on Sunday that Bolton "has not passed the draft manuscript to anyone else. Period."
Trump, meanwhile, has denied his former adviser's leaked claims.
