A little girl in Sacramento, California, was born on leap day on Saturday and now shares a birthday with her dad.
Baby Camila's birth on February 29 at the Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Carmichael, California, came as a surprise to her parents as she was not scheduled to arrive until March 3.
Not only was Camila born on a leap day, but her dad, Ivan Peñaloza, was also a leap day baby.
"I prayed to God for my little baby girl, and now, we are going to share this amazing bond for the rest of our lives. I am just so happy," Peñaloza told CNN.
The staff at Mercy San Juan Medical Center dressed Camila up in a "leap frog" outfit and celebrated with cake and balloons as they sang "Happy Birthday" to dad and daughter.
The odds of being born on leap day are 1 in 1,461, while the odds of a parent sharing a birthday with a child on leap day are 1 in 2.1 million.
