Six children and two staffers were kidnapped from a Christian school in Nigeria by Muslim herdsmen, another instance of Christian persecution in a country rife with it.

The eight victims were taken at gunpoint by what the local governor called “bandits.” The Fulani herdsmen in this case are suspected of having carried out numerous other attacks in the state.

One citizen listed “the vice principal of academics, the house mistress, and six female students” as the victims of the abduction.
