China reported 25 more deaths from the coronavirus Tuesday, raising the total number of dead to at least 106, with more than 4,500 infected. Dozens of cases have also been confirmed in other countries around the world.
That number is expected to climb significantly as China grapples with how to contain the spread of the virus, which is contagious for up to two weeks before symptoms present themselves.
Stock markets around the world were down sharply Monday and the price of oil hit a three-month low as investors worried about the potential economic fallout from the sickness.
