Nearly 40 officials in Taiyuan, China, raided Xuncheng Church's home Bible study, confiscated books, and detained preacher An Yankui along with five church members on Wednesday.

The five members were released on Thursday, but An is in administrative detention for 15 more days.

Wednesday's raid comes about one-and-half-months after a previous raid on An's home, according to persecution watchdog group International Christian Concern.

🔦 Xuncheng Church was planted by Early Rain Covenant Church, another church that has faced persecution from Chinese officials.
