A Christian foster care agency in Michigan has placed nearly 300 unaccompanied immigrant minors in foster homes across the country.

Bethany Christian Services has placed 299 unaccompanied children in foster homes since last November, when President Biden paused the deportation of unaccompanied children from the U.S.

Children in foster homes are waiting to be reunited with family already living in the U.S.

As of March 28, nearly 6,000 unaccompanied minors are being held in U.S. Border Patrol facilities, and more than 17,000 unaccompanied children are in U.S. Customs and Border Patrol or Health and Human Services custody.
