Documents uncovered by City Journal journalist Christopher Rufo show that white city employees in Seattle were exclusively forced to attend Marxist re-education training in a course entitled, "Interrupting Internalized Racial Superiority and Whiteness."
The sessions were meant to reinterpret traditional American concepts like "individualism," "intellectualism," and "objectivity," as examples of white people's "internalized racial superiority."
During the training, all white employees were instructed that they should be comfortable with losing their jobs as a way of "undoing" their whiteness.
The re-education session identified those of Arab, Jewish, Finnish, German, Italian, Armenian, and Irish descent as "white," and produced a flow chart to demonstrate how white people render people of color "unable to imagine a way forward that comes from a place of humanity."
The session also instructed white people to isolate themselves by angering fellow whites in a vocal and public embrace of their participation in "white supremacy," as well as promoted the idea of whites being held "accountable to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color."
