Despite the fact that the president is being impeached and the cable news network has been running wall-to-wall coverage, CNN's ratings for last week were down 15 percent in the daytime and 14 percent in primetime compared to the same week last year.
The network attracted only 689,000 total day viewers and 887,000 primetime viewers.
MSNBC, which also predominantly featured impeachment hearings and analysis, also lost a significant amount of viewers year over year, down five percent in the daytime and 12 percent in primetime.
Fox News, on the other hand, gained viewers, adding 14 percent to its daytime audience and 31 percent to primetime compared to last year. Fox's number of primetime viewers last week was more than CNN and MSNBC's combined.
