Coronavirus fears spur Irish public health officials to cancel St. Patrick's Day celebrations

With 19 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Ireland, the nation's public health officials have decided to cancel St. Patrick's Day parades and other celebrations.

Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar said Monday that the National Public Health Emergency Team had recommended canceling the festivities.

? The city of Boston has also canceled its St. Patrick's Day parade, although New York City's is still scheduled to take place.
