Japan is considering testing every passenger on board the Diamond Princess cruise ship for coronavirus after 66 new cases were confirmed on the ship on Monday.
The ship, which holds roughly 2,600 passengers, is quarantined at a Yokohama port. It is currently the most concentrated area of coronavirus cases outside of China, according to The New York Times.
Health officials in China said that more than 3,000 other cases have been reported over the last 24 hours, bringing China's mainland total to 40,171. The number of deaths has grown to 908.
