Kyren Gregory Perry-Jones, 23, and Cailyn Marie Smith, 18, have each been charged with two felony counts of intimidation and criminal recklessness, as well as one count of theft and criminal mischief, after the Indiana couple swerved their car at two 14-year-old brothers who were riding bikes with Trump flags affixed to them, forcing them off the road, before threatening them and ripping the flag from one of the bikes.
The incident was caught on Snapchat, which led to the charges.
The couple was driving the vehicle when they spotted the twin brothers riding their bicycles, which each had a flag supportive of President Trump attached to it with a fishing pole. The male driver, Perry-Jones, pulled up to the boys and asked if they were Trump supporters, to which they replied that they were.
Perry-Jones then swerved his vehicle at the boys, forcing them off the road into the grass "to avoid being struck." He then exited the car, threatened the 14-year-olds with bodily harm, tore the pro-Trump flag off one of the bikes, and ran it over with his vehicle before driving off.
Smith, the female, also joined in by taunting and threatening the boys, and attempting to grab their flags through the passenger-side car window just before the male ran them off the road.
