A group of fathers at a Cracker Barrel restaurant in Duncan, South Carolina, detained a man accused of voyeurism in the women's restroom.
The incident occurred Sunday morning after a 15-year-old girl claimed she saw a man looking at her from the neighboring stall. She left the restroom and told her father, who immediately told a female employee. When the employee checked the restroom, the man – identified as 53-year-old Douglas Lane – attempted to flee. The girl's father was waiting for Lane, however, and tried to detain him.
"The guy came running, sprinting out the front door [of the restaurant] with a very bloody nose," said one eyewitness regarding Lane.
According to Duncan Police Chief Carl Long, a group of other fathers who knew about the situation then tackled Lane and held him in the parking lot until police arrived.

In a video shared to social media, Lane claims his innocence.
"If that was my daughter, you wouldn't walk away," said one of the men who detained Lane.
Officers later recovered Lane's phone from the women's restroom. He told police that he had entered the wrong restroom due to an urgent need to use the facilities. Lane, who is a registered sex offender with repeat convictions, was booked on charges of voyeurism and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
