One man is dead and another in custody after a shooting at the Civic Center in Denver, Colorado during a rally called "Patriot Muster" and a "BLM-Antifa Soup Drive" on Saturday.
"There was a verbal altercation that transpired. A firearm was discharged," Joe Montoya, Denver Police chief of investigations said. "An individual was shot and later pronounced deceased. There were two guns recovered at the scene."
The suspect has been confirmed as "a private security guard with no affiliation with Antifa," according to the Denver Police Department.
The "Patriot Muster" was hosted at an amphitheater, which was barricaded by the police or security, while the "BLM-Antifa Soup Drive" was hosted by the Denver Communists just outside the amphitheater.
