Sen. Mike Braun (R-IN) is introducing a bill that would require abortion doctors to provide a proper burial or cremation for the remains of aborted infants.

The “Dignity for Aborted Children Act” is a direct response to finding of the remains of 2,246 aborted infants in the late Dr. Ulrich Klopfer’s home. Klopfer, a well-known abortion doctor, medically preserved the remains of infants he aborted from 2000 to 2002. Braun told CBN News he hopes the bill will prevent similar cases:

“You’ll have proper burial with the consent of the parents on what to do with the fetal remains, and it worked in Indiana. I’d simply like to do that same thing so that you can prevent anything like this ever happening again.”

🔦 The bill is one of the many dignity-of-life and pro-life laws making their ways through the legislative processes at the federal and state levels.
