The Department of Justice pushed back on rumors that Attorney General William Barr told people close to him that he was planning to resign over President Trump's tweets, which last week he said made it "impossible for me to do my job."

DOJ spokeswoman Kerri Kupec addressed the rumors on Twitter.

A person familiar with Barr's thinking told The Washington Post that Barr "has his limits." The Post's article suggested that Barr wanted Trump to "get the message" to stop commenting publicly on ongoing criminal cases. A similar report was published in The Associated Press.
