A Massachusetts electrician is leading a campaign that has raised over $76,000 for a 72-year-old woman unable to pay for necessary house repairs. The house has been undergoing repairs for over a month.

Gloria Scott of Woburn, Massachusetts originally called John Kinney of Kinney Electric to fix a ceiling light, but Kinney noticed the house had "No lights" or "running water."

"[I]t stuck with me over the weekend and I said, 'I got to go back there," Kinnney said. "[N]ow it looks like we are [trying to rebuild her whole house]!"

Many from the town of Woburn are also pitching into the project.

"Look at these people!" Scott said. "I mean, I can't even comprehend the gratitude that I have."

Kinney said he does not want the service project to end with Scott's house.

"[T]hat's why we put a name to it – the Gloria's Gladiators – and we want to keep going with this," Kinney said.
