Rapper Eminem released an album at midnight Friday with music imploring fans to support gun control laws in the United States.

One track on the new "Music to be Murdered By" album alludes to the 2017 massacre at a concert in Las Vegas. The song purports to explain to listeners "why we're so f*****," while the music video for the track implores viewers to "register to vote" and "help change gun laws in America."

🔦 Eminem has rapped throughout his career about committing violence with firearms, including in the 1997 song "Murder, Murder," in which he rapped about shooting a policeman at the Eastland Center mall in Detroit.
