Turkish President Recep Erdogan clashed with U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham in the Oval Office on Wednesday after the foreign leader showed the assembled guests an anti-Kurd propaganda video.

Erdogan’s video depicted the leader of the Syrian Democratic Forces, primarily a Kurd-led alliance, as a terrorist. Leaders of the Turkish government have long persecuted the minority Kurds in that country.

Following the video, Graham asked Erdogan: “Do you want me to go get the Kurds to make one about what you’ve done?” The two politicians proceeded to argue with each other about recent Turkish military decisions, including Erdogan’s claim that the Turkish government had helped fight ISIS.

Graham later confirmed the argument in an interview with Axios, saying he “rejected forcefully” Turkish claims about fighting and destroying ISIS.
