An alleged white supremacist has been arrested by the FBI for planning to blow up a synagogue in Colorado. The federal agents had reportedly sold the would-be terrorist fake explosives.

Richard Holzer, 27, is being charged with “attempting to obstruct a religious exercise by force using explosives and fire.” The synagogue, located in the town of Pueblo, is the second-oldest Jewish temple in Colorado.

Holzer has allegedly been involved with the Ku Klux Klan and identified himself as a “skinhead.” According to FBI documents, he told agents that he had planned to poison the synagogue’s water with arsenic. He also referred to the temple as a “cancer.”
