A group of Fulani Muslims ambushed another Christian village in Southern Kaduna State, Nigeria, killing one man and kidnapping seven others, including four students under the age of 18, Morningstar News reported last week.
Around 8 p.m. on August 24, more than 20 herdsmen rode into Damba Kasaya village, shooting sporadically. During the invasion, Fulani members killed a 35-year-old man named Benjamin Auta.
They also kidnapped seven people: four students and a teacher from a small school named Prince Academy, and two local farmers. Of the four underage students, three of them were girls.
The names of those kidnapped from Prince Academy:

- Miracle Saitu Danjuma, 15
- Favour Danjuma, 10
- Happiness Odoji, 16
- Christiana Madugu, 29
Herdsman also torched Aminchi Baptist Church before leaving the ravished village.
? More than 500,000 Christians have been displaced from over 100 Christian villages in Southern Kaduna, according to the Southern Kaduna People's Union.
