Billionaire George Soros has donated $50 million to Democratic PACs and campaigns this election cycle, $30 million more than he donated during the last presidential election.

Soros donated $17 million last quarter through the Democracy PAC, which he created last year. Federal Election Commission filings showed he has donated $48 million through the PAC this cycle. He also gave another $4 million directly to Democratic campaigns, bringing the total to $52 million in donations.

The 2020 donations beat out Soros's previous high of $22 million, which he donated during the last presidential election.

Donations from the Democracy PAC ranged from $90,000 to $2 million and funded organizations such as the Nancy Pelosi-linked House Majority PAC, the Chuck-Schumer-tied Senate Majority PAC, Planned Parenthood Votes, and the Sixteen Thirty Fund.

Soros's direct donations include hundreds of thousands each to the Democratic Grassroots Victory Fund, the Nancy Pelosi Victory fund, and the Biden Victory Fund.
