A GoFundMe fundraiser for black business owner KB Balla, who openly wept in a TV interview after the Minneapolis sports bar he had invested his life savings into was destroyed by looters, has surpassed $800,000 after only two days.

A news clip of Balla went viral after he cried in an interview and said, "I don't know what we're going to do. We have worked so hard to get here. So hard."

According to the GoFundMe page:

Scores Sports Bar was LOOTED, VANDALIZED and DESTROYED 5/27/2020. This black-owned business is left trying to pick up the pieces amidst mourning with the community ...

KB has been a community entrepreneur for decades and coaches and contributes to the community in which they live.

Anything you can donate to start the rebuild process will be a blessing.

Balla is a firefighter on the Brooklyn Center Fire Department. He and his wife have four children.

Scores Sports Bar was brand new; its grand opening had been delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic and Balla was just getting ready to open its doors.
