Harvey Weinstein has been indicted on 11 counts of sexual assault in L.A. County, attorneys said Monday.
Weinstein faces four counts of forcible rape, four counts of forcible oral copulation, two counts of sexual battery and one count of sexual penetration by force. The indictment from the grand jury upholds those charges and does not add new charges or alleged victims, sources told the Los Angeles Times.
The indictment remains under seal.
An extradition hearing meant to start the process of moving Weinstein from New York to Los Angeles was postponed until April 30 after it was found that L.A. County prosecutors had made several procedural errors in the paperwork.
