Pro-democracy activists in Hong Kong held up pictures of President Trump depicted as "Rocky Balboa" as part of a rally on Thanksgiving Day. The rally was held to thank Trump for signing two bills on Wednesday that support the protesters' cause.

Trump signed two bills earlier this week that would place sanctions on Chinese and Hong Kong officials who commit human rights violations, require an annual trade review, and prohibits the export of certain non-lethal arms to Hong Kong police.

Protesters used a photo tweeted by Trump earlier this week of his face superimposed on the body of Sylvester Stallone in the role of Rocky Balboa. They apparently are using the photo as a representation of American resolve against China.

Protesters also sang The Star-Spangled Banner at the rally.
