The recipient of an email that allegedly detailed business dealings between the Biden family and a Chinese company said on Thursday that the email is "genuine."
Tony Bobulinski, who is listed as a recipient of the email originally published by the New York Post, said that the Biden family had "aggressively leveraged the Biden family name to make millions of dollars from foreign entities" and confirmed that the reference to "the Big Guy" was a name for Joe Biden.
"The reference to ‘the Big Guy' in the much-publicized, May 13, 2017, email is in fact a reference to Joe Biden," Bobulinski said, adding that he was brought on as CEO of Sinohawk Holdings by Hunter Biden and James Gilliar, who sent the email.
The email proposed an equity split of "20" for "H" and "10 held by H for the big guy?"
Sinohawk "was a partnership between the Chinese operating through CEFC/Chairman Ye and the Biden family," Bobulinski said.
Gilliar warned Bobulinksi in May 2017 texts obtained by Fox News to not "mention Joe being involved" and that the family was "paranoid."
Bobulinski has agreed to give documents that allegedly show Joe Biden was supposed to be a silent beneficiary in the venture to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, which requested the documents on Wednesday.
He also said that the information he gave is not part of an international disinformation campaign.
"Any suggestion to the contrary is false and offensive," he said.
