Instagram is now warning its users if it suspects they are about to post "potentially offensive" captions, a service it will offer via artificial intelligence algorithms.
The company will alert users if the caption to their photograph "looks similar to others that have been reported." Users will have the option to share the caption as-is or go back and edit it.
The service is currently limited to just several countries, the company said, although it will debut globally in the months ahead.
? Instagram has developed several other content control features in recent months, including giving users the ability to "shadow ban" each other.
