An Iranian national named Masoud Yareilzoleh was arrested near President Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort Friday carrying a machete, a pickax, two knives, and $22,000 in cash.

The man was arrested near the Flagler Memorial Bridge, about four miles from Mar-a-Lago, after police received a call about a suspicious person. Trump was not at the resort at the time.

Yareilzoleh is in the Palm Beach County Jail and authorities are currently investigating what his intentions may have been.
