Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has avoided many of the questions asked of him by journalists, keeping him out of the media spotlight, even as Trump dominates the news.
According to a tally by the Trump campaign, Biden has answered less than half as many questions from the press than Trump. The tally, which the Biden campaign did not dispute, reveals that Biden has answered 365 questions compared to Trump's 753 questions answered since August 31.
In the same time, Biden has done three national interviews, two town halls, and approximately 35 local TV interviews. He also went three months without taking questions from beat reporters, and he has not answered a multitude of questions, including his view of adding new Justices to the Supreme Court.
"Biden has been the least-scrutinized presidential candidate in modern history at great disservice to the voters, but the press still has time to rectify that," said Trump campaign spokesperson Andrew Clark.
