Former Vice President Joe Biden has won Michigan's Democratic primary in a sweeping victory which represents a potentially fatal blow to Bernie Sanders' 2020 hopes.

Biden also won Mississippi and Missouri earlier Tuesday night as his momentum builds toward what seems to be an inevitable victory in the primary race.

The former VP captured Michigan's 125 delegates in what has been called a must-win for Bernie Sanders, who defeated Hillary Clinton in the state four years ago.
