Judge Blocks Trump Administration Plan To Allow Indefinite Detention Of Migrant Families

Federal Judge Dolly Gee on Friday blocked the Trump administration’s plan that would have allowed immigration officials to detain undocumented migrant families with children indefinitely.

This is the second time Gee has blocked the administration from changing the Flores Agreement, which is a court order that prohibits detaining migrant children for longer than 20 days.
